My little church and charming reception venue

We live in a seaside town that has a charming little village 5 minutes down the road that every Christmas me and my mother go and sing carols round the large tree, it’s so magically and i knew from that day that when i got married this was the church i had to get married!
The vicar was a crazy funny lady who made me giggle at something or other when i first meet her. And made me feel totally at ease, so that was the church chosen.
Now for Northdown House, originally we had chosen a different venue but I’d always wanted this one but it wasn’t available for the date, so we booked Pegwell Bay.
Me being me though rang Northdown House just to check it wasn’t available and it was so straight away booked that and cancelled the other one.
Northdown house has these charming little secret gardens all around it and 3 large rooms that will be filled with lots of different things for the wedding!

Polka Dot Themed Wedding and a Out There Wedding dress

We’ll we decided a while back that we were going to have a polka dot theme wedding but said “no we can’t it’s a December wedding!” But then thought actually why can’t we it’s our wedding not anyone else’s but ours and we can have it OUR way.
To be honest we aren’t sure which came first though the love for dolly couture gowns or the polka dot obsession!
Dolly couture is the designer who is making my wedding dress, a little polka dot creation that is not the average long floor length gown! Who can dance in those anyway?!
And on the polka dot themed note we got these for our tables!

Re - Awakening

Afternoon or would you call it evening now?
I realise my blog was asleep and needed to reawaken it.
I was thinking this morning of what i could put on it as i was going to have it as a daily wedding blog but i also see so many weddings that i like, that i may drop some of these into the blog but don't worry they will all relate to my actual plans in one way or another.
Anyway the important part of this wedding is the date which is the 18th of December 2010.
Not long i hear you all say but its ok most things have been saved for its just buying them now that’s the exciting bit!
As this is my first and newest post since re-awakening this blog i thought you might enjoy a cupcake with me!

The Wedding of Pherenice & Ryan at St Martins Church, Herne

Invitations will be delivered to guests in August
RSVP by October 10th 2010, st via cards provided.
Ceremony begins at 3pm, so please arrive before the bride!
Parking is available at Herne Village carpark.
Following the ceremony, all guests need to make their own way to North Down
House, Thanet for 4:45pm.
4 course sit down meal, followed by a disco until 12 midnight.
